David Gilbert (b. 1982) lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Gilbert received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2004 from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, New York, NY and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in 2011 from UC Riverside, Riverside, CA.


Gilbert is the recipient of 2009 Tierny Fellowship and the 2008 AIM Fellow, Bronx Museum of Art, Bronx, NY.
