Biography

Jim Hodges (b. 1957) lives and works in New York, NY. Hodges received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1980 from Fort Wright College, Spokane, WA and a Masters of Fine Art degree in 1986 from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.

 

Hodges is the recipient of the 2006 AICA, Association Internationale des Critiques d’art; the 2001 Albert Ucross Prize; the 2000 California College of Arts and Crafts, Capp Street Project Artist-in-Residence; the 1999 Washington State Arts Commission; the 1995 The Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation; the 1994 Penny McCall Foundation Grant; the 1992 Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, NEA; Paintings and Works on paper Regional Fellowship.
