JJ PEET lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. PEET received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN in 1999 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yale School of Art, New Haven, CT in 2006.


PEET is the recipient of the 1998 NCECA Student Fellowship; the 1998-99 Brown McKenzie, Scholarship University of Minnesota, MN; the 1999-00 Resident Artist, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Snowmass Village, CO; and the 2014 Resident Artist, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Snowmass Village, CO.


PEET has had solo exhibitions at The Contemporary Austin, Austin, TX; Gallery Diet, Miami, FL; On Stellar Rays, New York, NY; and Redling Fine Arts, Los Angeles, CA.
