Biography

Jockum Nordström (b. 1963) lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. Nordström is the recipient of the 2002 Watercolour Award, Konstakademien, Stockholm, Sweden; the 1999 Becker Artist Prize, Stockholm, Sweden; the 1999 Elsa Beskow Plaketten, Svensk Biblioteksförening, Stockholm, Sweden; the 1998 Heffaklumpen Children’s Book Prize awarded by Expressen Newspaper, Stockholm, Sweden; the 1998 Stora Svenska Illustratörspriset, Stockholm, Sweden; and the 1995 Carl Larsson Stipendiet, The Royal Academy of Arts, Stockholm, Sweden.
