Tony Feher will speak at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, Texas, on 25 February at 1pm.
Tony Feher is featured in a solo exhibition at Artpace in San Antonio, Texas. The exhibition is on view 12 January – 29 April 2012.
Sarah Cain and Rosana Castrillo Diaz are included in Fifty Years of Bay Area Art: The SECA Awards at SFMOMA, on view 9 December 2011 through 3 April 2012.
Sarah Cain is included in Teasers: Selected Works from the Pizzuti Collection by Women Artists, the Collection's inaugural exhibition, on view through Summer 2012.
Leonardo Drew was awarded the Joyce Alexander Wein Artist Prize.
Teresita Fernández has been appointed by President Barack Obama to the US Commission of Fine Arts. The Commission consists of seven members, appointed by the President to a four year term, and advises the President and Congress "on matters of design and aesthetics, as they affect the Federal interest and preserve the dignity of the nation's capital."
Leonardo Drew and Gary Simmons will be featured in the survey exhibition 30 Americans at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design in Washington, DC, on view from 1 October 2011 through 12 February 2012. This exhibition was first shown at the Rubell Family Collection in Miami, FL in 2008 and has been reconceived for its presentation at the Corcoran.
Sarah Cain is featured in a group exhibition at the Orange Country Museum of Art, Newport Beach, CA, Two Schools of Cool, on view from 9 October 2011 through 22 January 2012.
Donald Moffett is featured in a survey exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston, TX, 1 October 2011 thru 8 January 2012. A lecture by the artist will be presented at the museum, also on 1 October 2011, at 2pm. This exhibition will travel to The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh, PA in 2011.
Sarah Cain participated in "Talks on Painting: Intervening in the Picture Plane," a panel discussion moderated by Corrina Peipon at the Mandrake Bar in Los Angeles, CA, on Sunday 29 May.
Teresita Fernández was featured in a solo exhibition at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Focus: Teresita Fernández, 24 April through 19 June 2011.
Hurvin Anderson has produced limited edition prints with Durham Press.
Dave Muller has produced limited edition prints with White Columns in New York.
A site-specific installation by Rosana Castrillo Diaz is on display on the bridge to the rooftop garden at the SFMOMA.
